Meet Emily Sherwood

Emily Sherwood, originally form Louisiana, learned the true meaning of southern hospitality and authenticity at an early age. Today, she is a quintessential Las Vegas luxury real estate professional. After attending college at University of Kansas and University of Colorado, Emily finished her college journey with a degree in interior design and fashion merchandising. Emily Started her real estate career in Colorado, selling new homes for builders and custom developers. Emily moved to Las Vegas in 1988, opening the operations of a Colorado based homebuilder. This move launched her career into the luxury market in Las Vegas. Celebrities, renowned public figures, Fortune 500 executives, professional athletes and countless others have used the services of Emily Sherwood to assist them in finding their dream home here in the Las Vegas Valley. Her philosophy is a to carefully evaluate each client’s dreams and desires and tirelessly work to match them with a property that exceeds their expectations.

Emily has established an impressive resume of real estate successes. During her 30+ years selling luxury properties, she has consistently remained a top producer. She maintained top sales status selling Spanish Trail offering condos, townhomes, luxury homes and custom lots. She was also the Vice President/corporate Broker for the $4billion dollar Lake Las Vegas development, pioneering its sales and marketing program selling luxury custom lots, builder products and other golf and resort properties for TransContinental Properties. 


Emily continued to thrive, moving on to the start up of MacDonald Highlands as Vice President/Corporate Broker, debuting its custom lots and the opening of Dragon Ridge Golf club. Emily maintained her high level of sales and services at MacDonald Highlands, again helping clients realize their dream home on the perfect location. Due to requests from builder clients, Emily became managing partner of BOS Marketing Group, a consulting company offering full real estate sales and marketing services to builders and resort developments around the country. After weathering the storm of the Las Vegas recession, Emily joined Blue Heron, a local and successful design build firm. During her time with Blue Heron, Emily has been a trusted advisor to clients in finding their unique custom lot for the creation of a one of a kind Blue Heron custom home selling over $100 million dollars in the custom home arena.

This broad experience has now launched Emily to leading the charge of Pivot Modern Real Estate, a boutique real estate firm, changing the experiences for the luxury consumer of Las Vegas real estate. Emily and her husband Mike enjoy the desert climate and having both their grown children and their spouses living nearby. Her interests include hiking, skiing and frequent trips to the mountains. Her main enjoyment, other than activities with the Family and their two dogs, is the opportunity to sell real estate in the best place in the world, meet wonderful people and have friends from all walks of life.




Meet Shannon Sherwood

Shannon was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Shannon graduated from Bishop Gorman High School and went on to attend and graduate from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Finance in 2013.

After graduating, Shannon was recruited to be the financial analyst for a start-up venture at Agilent Technologies, a global firm. She and a nimble team grew the business from scratch to over $80M in annual revenue. Once the startup was established, Shannon found herself out of the excitement and performing more traditional analyst roles. Her mentor encouraged her to transition to sales.

Shannon’s career with Agilent took her to Philadelphia and the Bay Area before she moved into a full remote role with the company and moved back home to Las Vegas.

After moving 12 times in 10 years, Shannon found herself constantly searching for housing. After settling down, she realized how much she missed the search. Growing up in Vegas, Shannnon already new the city and its market trends.

Joining forces with her mother was a natural fit! Leveraging her sales, customer experience and finance background she jumped into Pivot Modern ready to provide her expertise and luxury service to customers.
